Every now and then, I get to do a session that is just magical. A few months ago, I was interviewed for Stratejoy’s Holiday Council with Molly Mahar, and one of the listeners just so happened to be a vivacious and charming gal named Katie. Katie lives just south of the border in Washington State, and she reached out to me and asked if I would do the honour of taking the headshots for HER NEW BOOK that she’s publishing this year. And not only that, she also wanted to take me for coffee!
I could not WAIT to meet Katie. In our email correspondence it just felt like we would hit it off right away. And I was right. We decided to grab lunch before our photo session, and we just clicked, chatting our faces off about motherhood, writing, photography, and life in general. And when we went down to Centennial Beach to do our session, the magic continued. I simply love these joyful and energetic shots of Katie, and can’t wait to see them on the back of her book!
