Not many people know this, but I offer a “See Me Grow” package for families with new babies. It includes a full-length newborn session, a follow-up 6 month private mini session and finally a one-year private mini session. These are really fun sessions for me to do because I love seeing those brand new babies change and grow over the year. Normally, I see them as newborns and then maybe see them again as toddlers at a family session, and so much change has taken place since I photographed their teeny toes and fingers!

I’ve decided to post this family’s session in all black & white.  Lately, I’ve been converting some of my favourite shots from each session to black & white, and delivering them along with the coloured images as well.  I’m really drawn to the black & white versions – there’s something so timeless about them.  I feel like we’ve captured a split second of their busy lives and turned it into this simple-but-beautiful memory.
