When I first announced my special “Me & My Mommy” sessions in early April, I had no idea what the response would be.  I only knew that I had spoken to many, many moms who confessed that they never actually get to be in nice photos with their kids, unless they take selfies.  So, I thought I’d try this new style of session out and see what happened. I was stunned! The response was incredible.  I booked 14 sessions over the next month, and with $25 from each session going to the Pacific Post Partum Support Society, I was able to donate $350 to the organization this past Wednesday evening at their Angel Donor Dinner.

Daisy was the first mama to sign up for one of these sessions. A mama of two young girls, Daisy has been a friend of mine for about a year, when we met at a postnatal health event last spring.  I always admire her fun-spirit and willingness to be vulnerable and open, and I know that her daughters are only going to benefit from both of these shining qualities as they grow.
