Taking photos of moms and their children is really close to my heart. My obsession started a few years ago when I launched the Good Mother Project, with a series of photos of mothers with their children, holding up encouraging messages for other moms. Through that project, I’ve met so many incredible mothers, including Elisse, who happened to attend an event that I spoke at on behalf of the Good Mother Project. When she came to the studio to do this session with her daughter, I was immediately drawn in by her warm presence. She’s not afraid to tell the truth and be vulnerable, and she has such an adorable connection with her daughter as well. I’m excited to show off these sweet photos of her and her little one!
