If you have really young kids, do you worry about having them sit still for family photos? Sometimes it seems like they are far more interested in exploring, playing and moving around. But that’s why I’m really starting to embrace more of a lifestyle or documentary form of photography, and I love it when my clients are willing to go with the flow for this! Heather’s sweet little girl is two years old, which is the peak of the “I’d rather explore than have my photo taken” phase, so I was thrilled that they came to their session at Garry Point Park in Steveston armed with bubbles and storybooks.  It meant that we could just relax and play during our session, and I was able to capture these beautiful, natural moments for Heather and her family.
