Friends and family who know me really well know that I had a pretty adventurous, soul-searching summer. In July, the hubs and I attended the World Domination Summit in Portland, Oregon for the first time.  And in August, I trekked all the way to Asheville, North Carolina for the first ever Stratejoy Summer Camp for grown-ass women. I was SO excited. I couldn’t imagine too many things that would be better than 4 days in the woods, at a real summer camp, with 100 other amazing women, eating delicious food, drinking wine, journalling, camp-firing, singing and all of this, with no toddler in sight.

Don’t get me wrong – I love my two year old! But this trip was for me.  It was the longest I’d ever been away from my little bean. It was the farthest I’d ever been away from him. It was the most time, since his birth, that I had dedicated time, completely to myself.  It was heavenly.
