I met M’s mama a long time ago, before there were any babies or husbands and the two of us had lots of spare time to do things like work on The Vagina Monologues together. I adored her zany sense of humour and seemingly boundless energy, and I’ve enjoyed staying connected with her via the magical world of Facebook over the years. So, when she contacted me to do a cake smash shoot for her youngest child, I was so excited to see her again and meet her little man! M wasn’t so sure what to make of the lovely cupcake that his mama had made for him, but he still supplied us with numerous adorable facial expressions that were perfect for the camera!
