When baby number 2 arrives, the best a parent can hope for is that their eldest child loves and dotes upon their new sibling as much as they do.  Sometimes it takes a bit of time to adjust to having a new little person in the home, but sometimes big brother or sister exceeds everyone’s expectations and cherishes that new baby with a ferocity that shines from their precious little heart.

Big brother Matteo has such a heart.

I had the privilege of photographing sweet Matteo when he was a newborn, and his lovely parents invited me back to their home this January to capture some precious and fleeting moments with their newest baby boy, Kaiden. And although Kaiden was a joy to photograph, with his teeny baby toes, squishy baby cheeks and adorable button nose, Matteo truly captured my heart. His adoration for his new baby brother, paired with his infectious giggle, boundless energy and sweet snuggles made him such a joy to photograph.

I am truly honoured that I was invited to this family’s home and able to create an “Our Family Story” video for them. Thank you to Nancy, Mark, Matteo and sweet little Kaiden for including me in your morning and in this precious time in your lives!
