When we moved here 5.5 years ago, I had no idea that South Delta held such a treasure trove of talented kids! Over the last few years, it’s been a true pleasure to learn about all the fabulous youth programs in our community – the Delta Youth Theatre, Studio West Dance, and both secondary schools all put on annual and/or semi-annual theatrical or musical productions. It’s been awesome to take our young, budding musician to see these productions. So inspiring for the younger kids!

The Turner girls joined me in my studio to have their first headshots taken for the upcoming Studio West production of “Seussical Jr: the Musical“, happening on June 7/8 at the Genesis Theatre in Ladner. Both girls were extremely excited to have their photos taken, and were an absolute pleasure to work with, telling me all about the show and their parts in it.  I’m hoping we can make the time to go see it this June!
