When I arrived at the Prevost home on a sunny June morning, an eager little face was peeking out of the curtains at the front of the house, and another smiling face greeted me at the front door with a computer print-out sign she had created that said “Welcome Eran! We are so excited to have you here!” To say that I felt immediately welcomed into the Prevost home would almost be an understatement.  Instead, I felt like the cool auntie or cousin that hadn’t been seen in ages, who was receiving the biggest, warmest “Welcome Home” hug ever.

Being with this chatty, effervescent family of 4 felt like I was hanging out with old friends, even with the kids, Paige & Cole. The energy in their house was vibrant and loving, full of inside jokes and hilarious stories. Watching each of them interact with each other was incredibly heartwarming. They were all so proud of each other’s accomplishments and talents, never hesitating to  heap praise and adoration upon one another.

And the best part is, I got the impression that things are like this all the time. It wasn’t a show they were putting on for me for family photos. I felt like each interaction, each compliment, was genuine.

From anecdotes over pancakes to dance parties in mom & dad’s room to family time outside, I felt the love and energy of this family, and I couldn’t wait to put their family film together.
