I love it when families want to do something unique and fun at their family photo session!  For this extended family, it was a giant adults-vs-kids water balloon fight – but first, we had to get those nice posed family pictures out of the way!

Kim reached out to me this summer, as she was hosting a large family gathering at her home in Port Coquitlam while some extended family members were visiting from out-of-province and out-of-country. She really wanted to get a photo of everyone gathered together, as well as portraits of each individual family grouping – and the grand finale would be the epic water balloon fight at the end. I loved meeting everyone and hearing their individual stories, and I especially loved the enthusiasm that *everyone* displayed once the water balloons started flying! Enjoy!
