Almost three years ago, I met the Brodsky family for the first time on a blustery November day at Garry Point Park in Richmond. They were a family of 3 at the time, with a vivacious and wise-beyond-her-years little girl. That little girl would soon become a big sister, and I would have the honour of photographing little sister at home as a newborn. And a year later, this family would invite me to once again capture their family photographs, as baby sister turned 1. And then this September, we would return once again to Garry Point Park, now photographing a family of 4, with two gorgeous, independent and bubbly little girls.

We started in the same rock garden where I originally photographed them 3 years ago, but as the girls explored the park, we quickly moved to the beach and fields, where they pulled out their kite and practiced their flying skills. I adore the photos of them playing together as a family. I think those are the photos that really capture everyone’s personality perfectly!
