It was the kind of fall afternoon that you pray for, when it comes to family photos. The sky was clear, the air was crisp, the sun had a beautiful, golden glow to it. And Colony Farm in Coquitlam was showing off it’s lovely, autumn warmth and colours. It was the perfect setting for June and her extended family’s session.

June and I have known each other for a number of years, as we’ve been singing together in our a cappella ensemble Sweet Scarlet since 2012. She is one of the most creative, caring and talented individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She continues to inspire me with her epic annual Hallowe’en costumes, her gorgeous singing voice, and the sweet relationship that she has lovingly cultivated with her daughters. It was truly a pleasure to witness her in her element, with her beautiful family at her side!
