I have fun at pretty much every single photo session that I do. BUT every now and then, I have a photo session that is really awesomely fun and different. This session with the lovely April was one of those types of sessions. She had won the session in a silent auction at last year’s Dirt & Candlelight gala and decided to treat herself to a solo, sunset, beach portrait session.

We met at the gorgeous Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen just before the sun was about to set on a late May evening. The tide was out – waaaaaaay out – and the temperature was practically perfect with a cool, summery breeze. April looked gorgeous in her simply white sundress, and was more than content to pose, run and play in the sand and sun. We captured SO many beautiful images, and I can’t wait to share them!
