I watched this little one come into the world, so OF COURSE, I couldn’t wait to photograph him as a newborn in his cozy home with my sister (his mama) and her family. Baby M, on the other hand, had other ideas!

On the day of his session in Victoria, he was out of sorts. Maybe it was the hustle and bustle of a busy house, maybe it was an upset tummy, maybe it was just life as a baby, but poor, sweet M was very much not into having his photo taken. He made me work hard for these sweet shots! But naturally, being his auntie, I forgave him immediately, as I know there will be many, many, MANY more photos of this little one as he grows and changes.

There will never be a shortage of love in this house, with a big sister who sings to him to calm him down, a daddy who carries and bounces him through his tummy upsets and fussy evenings and a mama who has one of the biggest capacities for love that I’ve ever witnessed in another person. Not to mention all the other wonderful friends and family members that have shown up, day after day to support and love up on him and his mama. Sweet M, you are loved so very much!
