Fall & winter is full of occasions to get together with extended family and treasured friends. Which makes it a wonderful season to gather your loved ones together for new family photos! This past Thanksgiving weekend, I took a beautiful drive out to Cultus Lake to gather with Jennifer and her lovely extended family for some updated family portraits.

It rained for almost my entire drive out to her parents’ cute lakeside home, but amazingly, the clouds parted for the exact duration of our photo session together, allowing us to get some truly heartwarming portraits to commemorate Thanksgiving 2019. I loved the joy, warmth and welcoming nature of this family – it was evident from the moment I arrived! And I think it’s evident in their gorgeous photos as well!
