As a Tsawwassen photographer, I’m generally pretty darn lucky with the weather. They say that South Delta gets 1/3 less rain than the rest of the Lower Mainland, and I have to say, I’ve found this to be quite true! We can be experiencing a glorious sunny day while friends of mine on the North Shore are under a heavy blanket of rain clouds and downpours. So, I’m quite happy to live and work here!
But every now and then, I’ll get some unique weather for a photo session. There was the summer when the forest fires made multiple sunset sessions look like we were on the surface of Mars. Or the unpredicted rain storms that plagues a few fall family sessions this October. Or the session below that was cloaked in a thick fog at Diefenbaker Park! But we made do, and the fog made for a memorable, unique backdrop for this fun, family session!
