I heard recently that during the month of January we had rain every. single. day, except for one. It was certainly a gloomy start to the year, and I definitely wasn’t doing any outdoor photo sessions in that weather! I’m glad that the forecast has had a bit more sunshine in store for us this February!

And I’m happy to be bringing a little bit of sunshine to my photoblog with this long-overdue post from a session I did way back in December while my sister and her family were in town. She just wanted a few “quick” photos of her kids together, but when your subject matter is this cute, nothing is ever going to be quick!

Believe it or not, this session took place just around the corner from my house on a pathway that leads to an industrial area. But we had some glowing sunshine, some tall, golden grass, and a few adorable kids, so it was easy to make some great photos!
