I’m back! Not only here on the blog, but also as your friendly, loveable, Tsawwassen photographer! After taking almost 2 months off to shelter at home with my family and re-work my business to be Covid19-friendly, I am thrilled to be back at work behind the lens.

My first venture into socially-distanced outdoor portraits was a series of Pay-What-You-Can Mother’s Day family sessions – and were they ever a lovely success! In fact, they were such a popular offering that I had to add a second date!

Although I was nervous heading out with my big lens and a couple months of no shooting under my belt, these sessions couldn’t have been a better foray back to work. Both days saw beautiful weather, beautiful families and beautiful smiles.

One of my first sessions was with Michelle and her three kids, all decked out in their spring colours at Diefenbaker Park. I’ve photographed Michelle’s kids numerous times over the years, but this one felt special since I had the opportunity to capture mom with her babies (even though two of them are practically teenagers!). They were all easy-going and cheerful – an absolute treat to photograph on this Mother’s Day lovely afternoon!
