Announcing Portrait & Play Sessions!
I am SO excited to announce these one-of-a-kind Portrait & Play sessions, taking place on Thursday, October 8th at Nook Play Studio in Tsawwassen!
I have partnered with my lovely friends at the brand new (and BEAUTIFUL) Nook Place Studio space to offer unique, fine art children’s portrait sessions, paired with a 45-minute playtime session in their creative Montessori-inspired play space. Each children’s portrait session is a quick 10-15 minutes long, and includes your choice of one digital jpeg image file, selected from an online preview gallery (additional images available for $25 + GST).
Follow up your portrait session with 45-minutes of playtime in this brand-new studio space, featuring wooden play equipment, Montessori-inspired toys & activities, arts & crafts and a cozy book nook!
Portrait & Play sessions are only $40 + GST each and include your child’s portrait session, a digital image of your choice, and 45-minutes of Nook Play Studio play time. Sibling sessions are available for only $70 + GST each.

SOME FAQ’s
Can I be in the photos with my child, or can I bring other family members?
These sessions are just for kids! Think of it as a fine art, school photo. Due to Covid19 studio capacity guidelines, please only bring one adult per child. Additional adults may be asked to wait outside.
What age are these sessions appropriate for?
Children of all ages! From babies to toddlers, school-age kids to teenagers. If they are willing to sit still for me, I’d love to take their portrait.
Nook Play Studio is purposefully designed for 0-5 year olds; however, there are arts & crafts materials that are suitable for all ages!
When does my playtime take place?
Your play time will take place directly after your child’s portrait session. If siblings are being photographed, one child can play while the other has their portrait taken.
What Covid19 precautions are being taken?
The portrait area will be sanitized between sessions, and social distancing will be maintained between the myself (the photographer) and children. I will also be wearing a mask. Nook Play Studio also has excellent Covid19 protocol. To read their guidelines, please visit their website.
Is there a special rate for siblings?
Yes! For two siblings, pay only $70 + GST. This includes a portrait session and digital image files for each child, plus 45-minutes of play time each.
Can I buy additional digital images or print products?
You bet! Additional digital image files are only $25 + GST or buy your full collection for $60 + GST (for sibling sessions, $100 + GST). Print packages are also available, ranging between $20-$50 + applicable taxes.
Are these sessions against a white or black backdrop?
Either! We will have both options set up for you.
What should my child wear to their portrait session?
Please avoid graphics, logos or neon clothing. Solid colours are best, and all portraits will be taken from the shoulders up.
