When we are teenagers, we have such big dreams and aspirations for our future. So many of us have visions of fame and fortune – I know I did! The prospect of becoming an actor, being a face on the big screen or stage, is so alluring, and I remember that feeling well.

Which is why I love photographing teenagers and youth who have those same aspirations. I see the excitement in their eyes, and the passion in their voices when they talk about their acting classes or rehearsals. It’s contagious, and I’m always so grateful to the parents that have encouraged their young stars, and helped them achieve their dreams.

Julia was no exception! Dipping her toes into the world of acting during Covid was obviously keeping her spark alive, and her father could see that when he booked this headshot session with me. I wish Julia many a broken leg as she chases her acting dreams! These are her two headshot choices 🙂
