As restrictions continue, regulating the number of people gathered for weddings and events, brides and grooms all over the world are either having to postpone their nuptials or get creative with their planning, and micro-weddings and elopements are perfect solutions!

As a Vancouver micro-wedding photographer, with elopements as my specialty, I know that it’s important to preserve your big day with beautiful and timeless images, so that those who were not able to be in attendance can still experience the joy of your wedding. What is a micro-wedding?

These days in BC, micro-weddings can have up to 10 people in attendance, including your officiant. Many local Vancouver, Lower Mainland and Southern Gulf Island venues and wedding vendors are creating unique packages and offerings for those couples who still want to celebrate their big day. Loved ones can join you virtually, personalized favours can be mailed to at-home “guests,” and many photographers, like myself, are offering personalized slide-shows to send out to your friends and family after your celebration.
