Oh friends, how I wish this crazy pandemic was over! I see the light at the end of the tunnel, but now, more than ever, is a time to be vigilant and cautious with all of our health and safety.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have been operating my photography business very carefully. If you are feeling nervous about booking a photo session, I totally understand. But if you’ve come here looking for some reassurance, I’m happy to provide a list of all of the precautions I am taking at the various sessions I currently offer. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to email me!
Studio Sessions
My studio is in my home, so I am being extremely vigilant when it comes to inviting clients into my space. You can expect the following Covid protocols in place at my home studio:
- As your photographer, I will be wearing a mask and remaining as socially distanced from you as possible during our session.
- My studio space and all props will be sanitized between sessions.
- Do not come to your session if you are ill! Refunds will be issued if you need to cancel your session.
- All clients must sanitize their hands before entering the studio space.
- Additional space to change clothes or use the washroom is not being provided to minimize contact points.
- When clients arrive, they can text me at 778-861-1781 to let me know they are here. I will respond to let them know when they can come to the front door.
Outdoor Sessions
- I will be wearing a mask whenever possible and remaining at least 6ft/2 meters away from you and your family members.
- All gear and props will be sanitized between sessions.
- Do not come to your session if you are ill! Refunds will be issued if you need to cancel your session.
Sessions in Your Home (newborn)
- Before entering your home, I will sanitize my hands. I will also be wearing a mask and remaining as socially distanced from you as possible during our session.
- All props and gear will be sanitized between sessions. Please make sure that anything of yours that I need to touch has been sanitized as well.
- You are welcome to provide your own props and blankets should you prefer.
- If you are feeling ill, just let me know. Refunds will be issued if you need to cancel your session.
- Only parents and immediate family members will handle your newborn baby. I will do my best to explain how to hold and position your baby for the best photos.
Again, if you have any questions or concerns about your health and safety during your photo session, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
