I always hope for that gorgeous sunset glow at every sunset session down at Centennial Beach, but sometimes it’s just not in the cards. Often we’re able to reschedule and hope for sunshine, but sometimes it’s just easier to go ahead with the session and hope that Mother Nature gives us some beautiful clouds and a warm breeze.

Which is exactly what Mother Nature delivered to us the night of Michelle’s session with her kids and parents! Now, I’ve been working with this crew for quite a few years and I know we’re always going to end up with great images, so even though the sunset wasn’t ideal, I was still confident that the love and laughter of this family would come shining through and make their photos beautiful. The relationships that Michelle has with her kids is just so touching to witness – they clearly love her to pieces (and she them) – so it’s always a treat to capture that with the camera lens.

So, despite the cloudy evening, we had a truly lovely time capturing these images and I hope they love them as much as I do!
