Most of the leaves had already fallen off the trees and the fields were flooded from the November rain storms, but Deas Island Park was still a lovely location for Margot’s family photo session in late November. She gathered her husband, two grown children and their spouses and kids, plus one lucky puppy for the occasion, and we spent just under an hour making some great family memories with everyone.

I always love to see the unique dynamics of extended family sessions – kids being goofballs, kids needing breaks, moms and dads dishing out bribes (I love bribes!), grandparents snuggling, spouses taking a moment for their own photo together. These sessions often seem like chaos when they are happening, but when I review the photos from each session, all I see is the love and the joy.
