More and more youth headshot sessions! Funnily enough, when I first started out as a photographer, I had no interest in working with kids or teenagers. I wanted to do weddings and engagements and trash-the-dress sessions. But once I had my own child, and started working with more families, I found that I really LOVED working with kids of all ages. I love chatting with them, finding out what makes them excited, what they love to do, what their interests are. And I think with all these young actors, it makes me feel a kind of excited nostalgia. I loved performing when I was younger, and I think it’s so cool that these kids are pursuing what they love.

Quinn is starting to dip her toes into the film acting world by taking an acting class, and she needed some new headshots. We met at one of my favourite spots for headshots – the breezeway at Tsawwassen Town Centre – and captured some lovely new photos for her to use in her budding acting career. Quinn just shone with natural beauty – both inside and out – and I just adore these photos that she chose for her portfolio!
