I like to think of myself as a total “go with the flow” kind of photographer. If you show up for your session and your kid is grumpy or nervous, or refuses to wear shoes, or will only smile if there’s candy involved – I’m 100% fine with that, and will just roll with it! I’m never worried about the images we will capture.

So when Suzanne arrived at Diefenbaker Park with her kids and they wanted to climb the trees and giggle profusely and have tickle fights with mom, I was all for it! These are my favourite kinds of sessions – when everyone just shows up as they are, let’s me take a peek into their lives and capture it with my camera. It feels so much more authentic and meaningful.
