There aren’t too many things that warm my heart more than a family that truly enjoys spending time together! Which was exactly the case with Kim and her beautiful family. Even though her kids are mostly grown up and on to their own grown-up things, they still hang out regularly, travel together and, of course, do family photos sessions together without complaining!

I met Kim and her family at Deas Island Regional Park just outside Ladner on a beautiful fall morning. The air was crisp, the sun was shining and everyone was in fabulous spirits. We meandered through the park together, stopping here and there to capture more photos for them – on the quaint wooden bridges, at the picnic area, against a wooden fence (to re-enact a family photo from the past!), and on the dock near the rowing club. It truly was a perfect morning for a family photo session!
