We’ve come a long way since I FORGOT MY CAMERA at Britt’s family photo session back in 2021 (no joke, I actually got to her session and realized there was NO camera in my camera bag – first and only time that has ever happened #fingerscrossed). Thankfully, Britt, her parents and her brother’s family were so forgiving and kind, and after a speedy trip home to grab that very important, missing piece of gear, we were back on track for their session.

And then, a pleasant surprise, Britt was in touch in 2022 for a maternity session with her lovely partner, Miguel. Shortly thereafter, I was invited to their home for a newborn session, with their brand new baby. And finally – the icing on the cake – I was honoured to be invited to photograph their wedding this May. It was the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend and it was a HOT one out in Pitt Meadows at the Golden Eagle Golf Club.

I met up with Britt & Miguel in their home in North Delta to capture a few “getting ready” moments, and then we were off to the golf club. It was a gorgeous day, despite the heat and the setting was absolute perfection. Beautiful rolling hills on the golf course set against a backdrop of clear blue skies and snow-capped mountains – they couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better location. Add to that, a gathering of joyful & supportive friends and family, and I think this wedding was nothing short of perfection (oh! and the food at the reception was AMAZING!).
