My Mother’s Day sessions are one of my favourite times of the year. These originally started out as fundraising sessions for the Pacific Post Partum Support Society (whom I still adore), and then morphed into Pay-What-You-Can Mother’s Day sessions. I love that mamas take this opportunity to get in the picture – not only for themselves but for their children as well! It’s not always easy with our crazy extra-curricular activities schedule and jobs and extended families and LIFE – prioritizing ourselves can get really tricky. But without fail, my Mother’s Day sessions are always popular and I’m so proud of these moms for taking the time to put themselves first.

I will definitely continue my tradition of Mother’s Day sessions in 2025, but am still uncertain as to what format they will take. I definitely want to keep sessions affordable and accessible, but I also need to be conscientious of my own time and energy – it takes a lot of both to successfully manage these sessions!
