If you’ve never seen a Delta Youth Theatre production, you are missing out! The creative team of DYT prides themselves on producing incredibly high calibre shows – from sets to costumes & props, lighting to sound, no detail is spared when a DYT show is created.

This fall, Delta Youth Theatre is presenting the musical Oliver Jr., a tale that follows “a malnourished orphan, as he escapes the harsh conditions of a Victorian workhouse and becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Determined to find a better life, he flees to London, where he encounters a gang of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the cunning and elderly Fagin” as described on the DYT website.

“Oliver’s journey takes a hopeful turn when he is taken in by the benevolent Mr. Brownlow after being wrongfully accused of theft. But danger lurks as Fagin, alongside the menacing Bill Sikes and the kind-hearted Nancy, attempts to pull Oliver back into their dark world.” Grab your tickets and see if Oliver finds the love and belonging he has always longed for, or will his past threaten his chance at a better future?”
