Sibling Spotlight: Headshots for Ella, Lexie & Connor

There’s something so special about working with young performers, and it’s even more fun when they’re siblings! I recently had the pleasure of photographing Ella, Lexie, and Connor for their updated acting headshots. These three were all so much fun to work with, each bringing their own spark and personality to my studio.

Ella, the eldest, is no stranger to the camera; she’s been booking commercial and TV roles for a while now. Her younger twin siblings, Lexie and Connor, are following closely behind. Lexie is already making waves with her own bookings, while Connor is just starting to dip his toes into the world of film and television auditions.

I photographed the twins back-to-back one afternoon and brought Ella in for her session the following day. Both girls were bubbly, confident, and full of stories. Connor started out a little more reserved, but it didn’t take long before my arsenal of fart jokes and silly sound effects had him grinning and giving me exactly what I needed for some great photos.

For these sessions, I had fun experimenting with my new coloured backdrops – yellow, pink, and blue – in addition to my traditional white. The colours brought a vibrant, youthful energy to the final images and were a perfect fit for these bright, talented kids.

Since our mid-June sessions, I’ve spotted them popping up on Instagram with new bookings, and it’s so exciting to watch their journeys unfold. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
