My Top Recommended Maternity Photo Locations

South Delta Maternity Photos

Centennial Beach Regional Park (My Signature Location!)
This is my favourite spot and where most of my maternity sessions take place. We start along the dyke trail, surrounded by tall grasses, wide-open sky, and dreamy coastal views – perfect for warm, glowy portraits. Then we wander down to Centennial Beach for that magical sunset magic, reflections on the water, and those iconic pink-gold skies. It’s peaceful, stunning, and gives you two unique looks in one session.
What to Wear: Light, flowing dresses in neutrals, pastels, or earthy tones. Anything that moves well in the breeze looks amazing here.

Deas Island Park

Deas Island is such a gem at sunset. The forest trails, boardwalks, and warm filtered light create the perfect mix of cozy and romantic. It’s great if you love nature but want a softer, more intimate forest vibe.
What to Wear: Deep or earthy tones like rust, navy, olive, cream, or soft florals to complement the trees.

Diefenbaker Park

This park offers a fun variety – lush greenery, gentle hills, a cute duck pond, and even a forested area tucked off to the side. It’s fantastic for families joining the session or for anyone who wants lots of different looks in one place.
What to Wear: Light neutrals or muted tones that blend naturally into the green surroundings.

Pre‑Session Tips
• Plan for sunset – the light is soft, warm, and super flattering.
• Bring comfy walking shoes (we’ll swap to your cute shoes once we’re in place!).
• Pack water and a small snack. Pregnancy photos are basically a fun little adventure walk.
• If kiddos are joining, bring a tiny treat or toy to keep spirits high.
• Consider professional hair and makeup for an extra glow, but it’s totally optional.
