The Southern Gulf Islands are quaint and rustic, artistic and friendly, with the perfect mix of secluded forests, rocky beaches and breathtaking views. In fact, they are one of my favourite places to visit in BC, which is why I’m proud to call myself a Gulf Island wedding photographer.
As an example, our family has been visiting Galiano Island for the past few years, taking brief relaxing breaks at the Galiano Inn & Spa or one of the many hidden vacation rentals that the island boasts. Heather & Eivin’s wedding took place at the Galiano Inn & Spa in September of 2016, and this adorable couple took advantage of the many scenic locations for their bride & groom photos. We ventured out to Bellhouse Provincial Park, just a short drive away from the inn, and captured a variety of locales including the ocean views, forested trails and rocky point. We were even lucky enough to have a ferry pass by for the perfect photo opportunity! The grounds of the Galiano Inn were also spectacular for their wedding ceremony and for capturing their bridal party shots. It was truly a magical wedding, and I’m certain that their guests will remember it for years to come! I know I will!
