As many of my clients know, this past year saw the beginning of a truly beautiful project that is extremely close to my heart, the Good Mother Project.  So many of you were involved in the inaugural events back in May, when we took photos of moms and their kids as a Mother’s Day fundraiser for the Pacific Post Partum Support Society, in the cities of Ladner, New Westminster, Qualicum Beach & Victoria.  In November, we decided to bring the photo event fundraiser to downtown Vancouver, and oh my goodness, did this event fill my heart and soul right up! It is such an honour to raise funds for the PPPSS, an organization that was instrumental in helping me move past my own postpartum depression, and it brought me so much joy to see four talented photographers, three amazing make-up artists, countless volunteers and 72 moms with their families participate in this event on November 14th.  Proud to say, we raised over $3200 for the PPPSS!
