Kim & Sean | Tsawwassen Wedding Photography

It’s wedding time! The summer is definitely wedding season, and I was SO excited to be out shooting a wedding again with Kiss Photographers. Since moving in October 2012, and then having a baby in March 2013, I’ve been wading back into my photography business slowly. Now that I’m a bit more sturdy on my feet, I’ve loved the new opportunities coming my way, and I’m really looking forward to photographing more weddings.

Kim & Sean’s wedding was such a treat to be involved in. These two were so laid-back and genuinely excited. We spent the early part of the afternoon at Kim’s home, as she got ready for her big day. Two of her adorable children were on hand as well, helping their mama get ready. The wedding itself was also really relaxed and comfortable (aside from the sweltering Chilliwack heat!), with a laid-back country feel, no bridal party, guests sitting wherever they chose, and the couple’s children involved in the ceremony. My favourite part of the day though, was the speeches. I’m a sucker for moments like this, but when Kim’s 8-year old son gave a speech to his mom, I could barely hold my camera steady. It was so touching and precious.  Simple a beautiful day all around!
