I first met Aysha many years ago, before either of us had kids, when we worked on a production of The Vagina Monologues together. She was a firecracker then, and she’s still a firecracker now (in fact, her etransfer password was, of course, “vagina”. Lol!)

So, obviously it was fair to expect that the rest of her family would be equally crazy and amazing. And I was not disappointed! I had the pleasure of working with the four generations of Aysha’s family during my first round of Good Mother Project mom & me fundraisers, but at that time, her youngest was still a twinkle in his mama’s eye. This time, we were able to include his royal feistiness in the festivities (and strangely enough, the energetic 2-year old comes across as the most docile in this collection of photos!).

What I loved about Aysha’s session is that no one was afraid to be goofy and have fun. There was laughter. There was roaring. There was dancing. There was tickling. And climbing. And fighting. And giggling.  It was fabulous.  And when it came time for Aysha to choose her images from the session, she selected some of my all-time faves, including crazy faces and hair-pulling. I simply adore these photos!
