Remember when I posted Robin & Chris’s engagement session earlier this summer? And I mentioned that I hoped to photograph their wedding soon? Well, I was lucky enough to be one of the few people at their beautiful, intimate elopement this past July at one of my favourite places in Canada – the Galiano Inn & Spa on Galiano Island.

This was truly a unique and magical experience for me. I hopped on the ferry early Saturday morning, and eventually, with hot tea from the Sturdies Bay Bakery in hand, made my way to Robin’s room-with-a-view at the Galiano Inn. Her hair and make-up was already done, and she’d sent Chris off to relax before their ceremony. After she put her GORGEOUS dress on, we captured a few absolutely stunning bridal portraits, and then it was off to get these two hitched!

Their ceremony was intimate, and oh-so-sweet, with lovely candid works spoken to each other, read from adorable cards. It was like the entire world melted away, as they shared their hearts with one another, beaming with joy the entire time. Once it was official, they shared a glass of champagne, and off we set to capture some more wedding portraits on this beautiful island. From the inn, to the point at Bellhouse Provincial Park, to the homey atmosphere of the Hummingbird Pub, we documented Robin & Chris’s love story in a perfectly charming way. Enjoy!
