Wessel Family Session | Tsawwassen Family Photographer

Coordinating three kids for a family photo session is no small task, and inevitably, there will be bumps (both literal and figurative) along the way. For the Wessel family, that included a premature loss of both front teeth, and an accidental black eye the day before the session – not to mention a toddler that only wanted to eat snacks at their photo session and had no interest in being photographed.

But we persevered! Because that’s just life, isn’t it? We made it work, and through the magic of make-up and Photoshop, even a black eye couldn’t hold us back from getting some great photos for this family.  We met up at Deas Island Regional Park, which is quickly becoming one of my new favourite places to shoot (at least when the mosquitoes aren’t around!), and spent some time wandering the trails, running and playing, and snapping some pretty adorable shots along the way.

This is the Wessel family.
