We were hoping for a beautiful fall evening so we could capture that lovely autumn glow in their engagement photos. Instead, Mother Nature delivered an overcast and rainy afternoon – but that didn’t stop Amanda & Chris! And even though Girl Guides had set up camp in our originally-planned photo shoot location, these two were all smiles and ready for a great session.
It was spitting with rain when we got started, so we took shelter under a wooden lookout stairwell, but within just a few minutes, the rain had subsided and we were able to take full advantage of the autumn beauty of Deas Island Park. But even more memorable than the fall colours and picturesque scenery was the obvious affection and admiration Amanda and Chris have for one another. Full of giggles, anecdotes and sweet, warm glances at one another, our hour together just flew past and before we knew it, the sun was setting and we started to lose our light.
When these two tie the knot this summer at beautiful American Creek Lodge in Hope, I can’t wait to be there to further capture their love story!
