It was my last family session of 2018, and we were hoping that the weather would cooperate! Given that it was mid-December, it could have gone either way – a nice crisp and sunny winter morning, or a ghastly, rainy, blustery morning – but thankfully, Mother Nature decided to meet us in the middle at Historic Stewart Farm with some friendly cloud cover and only a slight misty drizzle on and off.

I absolutely adored photographing little miss F. Her face was so incredibly expressive while the camera wasn’t pointing in her direction – and then she was all seriousness, with those long, luscious eye lashes, when my lens was pointed at her. But with some help from Curious George and many a silly voice from me and her parents, we eventually got some giggles and smiles. But even when she was showing us her Blue Steel look, I still loved capturing the precious relationship she has with her mom and dad.
