I first met the lovely Jamie a few years ago when she asked me to come on board to do headshots for the fabulous Delta Youth Theatre group’s production of The Little Mermaid Jr. Since then, she and I have paired up to do another 4 rounds of youth actor headshots for DYT. I act as photographer (of course), and she makes sure that the kids all look amazing and feel comfortable, checking on their hair & make-up and giving them an extra boost of confidence in front of the camera.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her 3 gorgeous daughters multiple times during these headshot sessions, as they are all talented and enthusiastic young actresses, but this was the first time that I got to photograph this crew as a family unit. We didn’t have a ton of time as we were racing against the sunset, so we just set out towards the fields close to my home studio. It was a chilly but the lovely afternoon light paired with the late autumn colours of the fields made for such a perfect session.
