We’ve known each other since her son was a baby, and her daughter was just a twinkle in her mother’s eye. We’ve performed on stage together in front of thousands of people. We’ve eaten giant bowls of popcorn and watched the entire Twilight movie series together. We’ve drank copious amounts of wine and performed epic, late-night, living room concerts of ridiculous pop covers. And I’ve had the privilege of photographing her and her family multiple times.

Heather is a powerhouse – a killer soprano, a savvy working professional, a mama with bottomless love for her kids, and a truly supportive friend. When she asked me to photograph her kids again this year, I said “You bet – but you’re getting in some of the photos too this time!” And I’m so glad she did because I know her kids are going to love and treasure these photos as they get older.
