It was, perhaps, one of the most laid-back, relaxed and fun weddings that I’ve ever had the opportunity to be a part of – and that’s saying a lot because most of my wedding clients are super laidback and fun! (I am seriously so lucky to work with the couples I work with!).
Chelsea and Brandon, a local Ladner couple, decided to tie the knot with just close friends and family this February at the Beach Grove Golf Club before heading off to a sunny destination for a bigger celebration this spring. But as a wedding photographer who loves smaller, more intimate and casual gatherings, this was right up my alley! The bride wore purple (and the groom wore purple accents as well!), and the whole event was so simple and relaxed. In fact, their ceremony was only about 2 minutes long! But that meant that there was tons of time for mingling, sipping drinks and sharing stories – which seemed to be what Chelsea and Brandon are really all about.
This perfectly simple event was such a treat to be a part of. I think each guest chatted with me and checked on me, making sure I was well-fed and hydrated. I had an awesome time, and I know these two will have a lifetime of happiness surrounded by such awesome friends and family!
