It’s hard to believe that I’m sitting at my desk, bathed in summer sunshine and writing a blog post about the fall and holiday season! I hope that you and your family have had an amazing, laughter-filled, sunshiney summer. Are you ready for fall and back to school?

Can I let you in on a little secret? Last fall was HARD. I overbooked myself, I said “yes” to everything, I photographed every single weekend, and I worked late into the evenings, just trying to catch up. I’m very (VERY) grateful for the success. But it took a toll on my mental wellbeing, and I barely had any time with my family.

This year, I’m trying to prepare myself as best I can for the chaos that is autumn. As scary as it is to me, I’m paring down on my fall and holiday offerings. I’m blocking off weekend dates for family time. And I’m readying myself to say “no” to things that I can’t fit in my schedule or that don’t feel authentic to myself and my business. It’s going to be hard – but a rewarding kind of hard. Because this is what matters most:

So, what does that mean for my clients? Planning, planning, planning! I’ve already released my Fall Family VIP Session dates (my new name for Fall Family minis) and my Holiday Card Session dates. And if you’re interested in booking a family portrait, maternity, newborn or headshot session between now and December, I would recommend putting a date on hold soon, as I will be confirming less bookings this season.

Fall Family VIP Sessions

Update your family portraits with a quick and easy photo shoot in a beautiful location! Fall Family Sessions are my most popular sessions of the year and they book up fast. Dates and times are limited, with sessions offered at Beach Grove Park in Tsawwassen on all dates.

Sunday, October 6th ~ 9am – 11:30am (SOLD OUT)
Saturday, October 12th ~ 9am – 11:30am (ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT!)

For only $175 + GST, you will receive a 20-minute session for up to 6 family members (pets included), and your choice 5 digital image files selected from an online preview gallery. Additional digital image files as well as prints and canvasses will be available to purchase after your session.

Holiday Card Sessions

For those of you who are super-planners, I’ve opened up bookings for my Holiday Card sessions as well!

My 2019 Holiday Card Sessions will be taking place over 3 weekends in November on the following dates:

Saturday, November 2nd ~ 9:30am – 12:30pm 
Sunday, November 10th ~ 9:30am – 12:30pm 
Saturday, November 16th ~ 2pm – 5pm

These sessions will be taking place in my home studio space in Tsawwassen. This year’s set will simple, minimal and family-friendly. Each session is $189 + GST and includes a 20-minute session for up to 5 family members and your choice of 5 digital images files, selected from an online preview gallery. Additional digital image files as well as prints and canvasses will be available to purchase after your session.

Availability for Holiday Card Sessions is limited and they must be booked in advance.
