I have to say, there’s not much more flattering than a past client asking if you’d travel to Vernon to take their newborn’s photos, so that they can continue the tradition with their family! Thankfully, I was already going to be in the area on a family roadtrip, so how’s that for kismet?

Nancy and Mark moved from Ladner to Vernon last year with their two boys (who I also had the pleasure of photographing as newborns), and were expecting a new addition to their family this past July. Baby E’s arrival just so happened to coincide with our annual family vacation, which had us staying only a short drive away from Vernon. So, of course I was thrilled that the stars aligned to allow me to, once again, be apart of this exciting occasion for their family.

Most of their session took place outdoors, or at a distance of 6 ft indoors, with my mask in place, but working with them still felt easy and familiar. Their two boys were happy to show off for my camera, and to snuggle their new little sister, and it made for such a joyful morning on my holidays.

Although this lovely family no longer lives close by, I still hope to see them every now and then when they visit, and look forward to watching all three of their beautiful babies grow up!
