When we met for Vanessa’s maternity session back in June, she suspected that her baby girl would probably arrive early. But she had no idea that sweet baby H would arrive in such a dramatic way! But I guess she couldn’t wait to meet her beautiful family, and instead of being born at the hospital, as everyone had expected and hoped, baby H was born swiftly and surprisingly at home!

So, it only made sense that this adorable girl’s newborn session take place at home as well! Luckily for me, our family is quite close to Vanessa and her family (our sons are buddies), so I was able to comfortably be in their home, although I still used a longer lens and made use of social distancing when possible. We proved that a lifestyle newborn session is definitely still possible! And we’ve got the beautiful photos to prove it!
