Expectant mamas are often said to “glow” during their pregnancies – so what better time and place to do a maternity session than in the glow of a beautiful Tsawwassen sunset?

My dear friend, Vanessa, was expecting her third child this summer, and although her maternity session was a little bit “up in the air” for awhile due to Covid-19, we were keen to make it work once restrictions lifted a little bit! Thankfully, we were graced with a gorgeous, sunny evening for our session at Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen. Her two boys were more than happy to run and play in the fields, often coming up with their own artistic suggestions for the shoot (which I adore, especially coming from kids!).

The photos that Vanessa chose as her favourites are some of my favourites too. She really is absolutely glowing. And I can’t wait to share her newborn session in the next few weeks. Congratulations Vanessa & family!
