Tsawwassen was hitting it out of the park this summer for the gorgeous sunset sessions! This family (one of my favourite groups of people) trekked all the way from West Vancouver on a Monday evening for theirs! Which is exactly why I adore them 🙂

I’ve known Heather for about a decade now. She’s one of my singing sisters in our vocal ensemble, Sweet Scarlet, but we’ve bonded over so much more – babies, momming, wine, Twilight, Pitch Perfect, peppermint tea, Pentatonix (I could go on and on). I’ve photographed her kids since they were much, much younger, but this year, I was so excited to capture her family of four at a sunset session.

It was a beautiful evening – a little bit of cloud cover, which added a gorgeous pink & blue haze – with just enough sunset glow to make some magic. Thank you to Heather and her lovely family for coming out to play with me!
