Nothing beats a beautiful day at the beach! I’ve been working with this lovely family for a few years now, and more often than not, we end up at the beach for our sessions. On this late summer Tuesday, Meghan and her husband took the morning off from work to bring their kiddo first to a photo session with me, and then to play at the beach and playground at Boundary Bay Regional Park. That’s one lucky kiddo!

As per usual, we began our session with what I like to call the “Christmas card pose” – everyone sitting, smiling and looking at the camera. But this little boy knows me well, and once those were out of the way, it was time to explore the beach! Off we went, down to the water’s edge to throw rocks, search for treasure, play with seaweed and jump off some big logs like a superhero.

All in all, it was a beautiful morning, and another perfect session for this sweet family!
